o1. Reduced to bershopping di mall within 10km radius only aka malls yang tak glamor dan tak crowded seperti Jusco AU2 aka mall yang dekat so boleh balik dengan pantas once the baby's moody. :p

Yea, ever since Myra's around, the parents(specifically the mummy) adelah sungguh tidak sempat nak membeli benda-benda lagha di big malls lagi,we only go to the malls when it's necessary. Huuu...I detest parents yang dok usung newborns ke hulu ke hilir in super crowded malls pehtu bila anak melalak, people around gonna give ya the "shut ya baby up" looks. Like, seriously, I think the parents could bear a few months without shopping-spree right especially when the baby's a newborn. So ya, no crowded malls for now. Tunggu lah dah besaq sket, say 5 months? he he :P

02. Half of the freezer is packed with EBM. Uh.. yea, no more Ben and Jerry's or Lecka2 plus I'm still on the ice cream-ban for the next few months or so. If I can't eat em, the daddy can't too. Yes?

o3. Each time we're out for a quick groceries shopping trip, we'll be equipped with a BabyBjorn and a stroller as Myra gets restless pretty quick when she's in the stroller so we hafta switch to baby carrier when she starts to go ek ek.

o4. Spending more moolah on the baby stuff compared to benda-benda lagha for ourselves - which reminds me that I'm yet to get anything for C*** for our 1st anniversary tho not like he cares bout the gift. he he.

On a lighter note, yea I'm emotional when it comes to BF since my journey started off on a bumpy road (Don't lemme start bout cracked, bleeding nipps segala.ha ha. Yea, but lemme tell ya that it's not as easy as it seems, selak baju, kasi susu, selesai). Tho some people didn't BF but their kids still turned out to be fine, I still don't wanna hear the typical "owh, minum FM/makan bubur/nestum/tepung beras awal pon anak sehat jer,bukan jadi ape pon". Yes, sumbat lah apa-apa pon to your kids, they are all yours.

On a happier note, our little precious is 3 months old today! Alhamdulillah.

The baby's asleep and Alhamdulillah it's easier to put her to sleep these days - especially for her day nap. All she needs is 2-3 minutes of dukung then terus lelap and yeah, due to her consistent timing jugak, it gets a wee bit easier for me to work on the house chores and masak - which is such a huge relief.

I'm thankful that she's getting less clingy in that sense, kot tak tido pon tamau asyik nak berkepit je macam anak koala bear. Not that I don't cherish the fact that my baby loves me so much that she wanted nothing but me, tapi tu lah, MIL going to come over and help us to look after her for one whole month during Ramadhan so I hope she'll be an easy baby for her nenek.

Well, Myra gonna turn 3 months in 8 days and she's been using like tonnes of disposable diapers. Heh, not that I don't wanna be more natural with cloth diapers - especially when they come with cute colorful designs and whatnot these days - tapi, I'm a working mum, if I'm too concern bout being environmentally right and whatnot, ade ke baby sitter nak melayan? Huuu..perhaps I'd put her on cd during the weekends lah kan?

Talking bout disposable diapers, we've been on a couple of brands - Mamy Poko, Huggies, Drypers, Pet Pet, Pureen - but the staple's Mamy Poko.

So let's ramble bout em for a bit ( yea, this what happens when you're a mum, you'll somehow stop rambling bout designer handbag and started fussing bout diapers instead).

Momy Poko
It's our favourite diaper to date. We've gone thru packs of em. Dah beribu-ribu lemon - which I reckon bleh beli a decent pair of shoes with that money. In fact it's her 1st diaper. It doesn't leaks, cottony soft, no nappy rash, comes with velcro tapes and tak busuk. ha ha. :P I mean of coz la baby's poo is sorta busuk but the diapers won't give out the smelly, musty smell when it's full of wee wee and yea, it's comel some more - ade cartoon Winnie the Pooh. Yes, I'm a sucker for cute stuff. :P

Huggies Ultra
It's a cheaper and not as soft version of Mamy Poko and not as cute. :P ha ha.Recently we bought the other version - Huggies Dry tapi belum try.Huuu...review ape la ni.

Pureen
I bought this brand out of desperation when Myra was hospitalized for her jaundice, masuk hospital tak bersiap sedia ini la bahananyer, hospital lak takde jual yang best - yea, I never mentioned bout it before aight? Yea, baby masuk hospital, baby menangis duduk bawah lampu, mummy dia pon tumpang menangis. ha ha. Back to Pureen, well, it works lah for a diaper, but need constant checking and changing as it leaks and to my annoyance, gave Myra nappy rash. Yea, obviously takkan beli lagi or pakai lagi tho ade yang kasi free. :P

Pet Pet
We bought this out of a cousin's recommendation when Myra's 2 months old. It's cheap but comes with velcro tapes, good fit, soft, sorta cute and sorta okay for day wear tapiii...ianya adelah busuk. Ade love and hate relationships disitu. I soo wanna like it sebab murah giler and Mummy boleh la guna duit tu untuk benda2 lagha yang lain, but perhaps mempunyai benchmark yang terlalu tinggi as we've been using Mamy Poko for soo long. We still have a pack of it and maybe akan beli jugak la when it's on sale, so boleh la jugak pakai main-main- especially on Myra's berak days, yeah the little precious berak selang sehari then banyakkk pulak tu, okay too much information. he he.

Drypers
I don't know why we bought those diapers at the 1st place as it has nothing to shout about - except for the cute design and dirt cheap. Owh, now baru ingat, C*** insisted on trying them on - as he think the diaper mempunyai nama yang cool, Drypers. Hmppphh.. T_T Luckily we only bought the small pack. For the sake of reviewing, the diaper leaks, comes with those annoying sticky tapes,gave Myra nappy rash and busuk juge. 1st and last purchase lah nampaknya.

So yea, we're sticking with Momy Poko for regular use and Pet Pet for hari berak - owh Myra's still on BF so memang la sangat lawas adanya. :P

Talking about BF, ade la pulak yang nak suruh feed my lil baby with air masak. Jangan la pulak keluar idea nak kasi nestum segala. Haih, it's tiring to remind em that she's exclusively bf. How on earth am I supposed to educate these people?

It's frustrating at times. Macam la budak kecik tu tinggal rangka ke ape ke, padahal she's getting heavier with double chins segala - what make em think that she ain't getting enough nutrients?




It annoys me to answer those

"Minum susu badan jer?" (Whaddaya mean by jerrr???)

"Eh, dah nak kerja lum campur FM lagi?"
Phbbttt...sooo susu sendiri yang banyak-banyak tu nak buat ape? Mandiii ka? Why should I feed my baby with cow's milk when I have mine? Why am I having these nagging feeling at the back of my head as if these people think that I'm being a cheapskate hence the BF - yer lah susu ibu kan free, susu lembu kena beli okeh.

Cheapskate ape kalau nak invest on breastfeeding equipments sume dah makan ribu segala. Sometimes I feel like rubbing those facts on their face.

I don't give a damn if others' kid dah minum FM mahal, makan nestum/bubur umur sebulan dua then jadi sehat bulat tembam ke ape.

I'm trying my best to provide for my baby and I'll do that as long as I could, InsyaAllah, so please don't ruin it for me.

Keeping a smiley face whilst facing those unwanted suggestions are getting rather uneasy, so God help me.

Okay, am getting emotional, so later.

As I'm typing this, the baby's asleep, the hubby is somewhere up North for a work trip only to return by tomorrow and I'm exhausted - but I'm too tired that I can't sleep.

Well, usually when C***'s around, we gonna take turn to rock the baby before she finally decides that it's her time to sleep. Yer, kena berdukung duluuu..else she'll cry like nobody's business, macam kena dera. Tsk tsk..

Today it's just me, juggling between house chores and a screaming sleepy baby. Walaupon pinggang cam nak tercabut and I hafta stuff myself with a cheese sandwich whilst holding a baby, kena lah layankan jugak. If this ain't love, then I don't know what this is.

Owh, the baby is cranky since she can't sleep during the day, no thanks to the renovations on progress next door. If the noises managed to annoy me, imagine the effect on a sleepy baby. Haha. Baby tak boleh tidoq, mummy dia yang emosi.

On a lighter note, I'm going back to work in less than 2 weeks? Am I thrilled? Not so much. ha ha. Yea, this comes from someone who couldn't imagine how to be jobless for three long months. Sekarang adelah rasa malas, plus it's just plain sad to leave the baby. Sekarang saper la yang clingy? Me or the baby? :P

Well, talking bout work, there were some departures at the work places, so once I'm back, I reckon that the workload gonna be monstrous. Hope the boss gonna be easy on me as it has been months since my last coding, so I'm feeling a bit rusty - but fret not, programming is like riding a bicycle, ya may get a wee bit rusty, but InsyaAllah, tak lupa lah kot.

Owh well, time to get some sleep. Ciou.

Yea, he's asking us out for dinner so he could meet his beloved daughter and menantu, teeett! Salah disitu. He is asking the daughter and menantu to come over to the hotel for dinner so he'll be able to meet his cucu instead. Tsk tsk, siapa lah diriku sekarang, sudah tidak favourite lagi. :P

That's the Tokwan's side of the story, as for the grandma, she would ask me to mms her darling cucu picture each time we're on the phone. he he.

Well yea, I still manage to cook these days. Tho not much of those fancy schmancy meal as juggling between cooking and a screaming baby leave me with not much space for creativity - with that I'm so very thankful for C*** who's not a fussy eater at all.

On another lighter note, 2 more weeks before I'm back to work. Owhh no.

For some reason, the stupid Maxis broadband is blocking my access to FB and I'm not even done with my monthly quota yet, pbhhttt...

Anyway, here I am, at home with the little sleeping beauty. She's asleep (hence the sleeping beauty :P) whilst her mummy cum nurse is armed with a thermometer to monitor her temperature as she just got her 2 months immunizations injection yesterday. Yer lah, takot dia demam terkejut ke ape.

Well, all went well yesterday. She's 4.9kg now (patut la lenguh dah tangan mummy anak oii) - that's 1.3kg weight gain in a month. She, ehem..stands at 56cm. ha ha. The moment her little butt kena cucuk, she wailed as usual, but got distracted few seconds later by the squeaky toys that I got from the doc's office. Owh, I think we found the right paed for Myra, she's nice, friendly, motherly and all that which reminded me of my own gyne (both of their clinics are just sekangkang kera away from each other). Must drop by to her clinic soon as I have tonnes of stuff to be asked.

Our next appointment gonna be in August for Myra's 3 months checkup and that's when we decided to go for the extra vaccinations - pneumococcal. It's highly recommended by the paed. Like sila lah ambek, your child's health is something priceless. Duit boleh dicari. No? Kang anak dah sakit, mak dia jugak yang menangis.

On a lighter note, we finally brought Myra back to Malacca last weekend. All went well tho she did throw terrible tantrum kerana kepanasan(Malacca dan kepanasan adelah tak dapat dielakkan, whilst I was staying in Malacca for my Alpha year, adelah pelawat tetap clinic kerana asyik sore throat and ulcer) and kembung perot (which is my bad as the mummy lupa diri and makan goreng pisang,so hafta watch my diet next time).

Owh, si merah juga telah selamat disunatkan. I didn't have the heart to see the procedure tho it ended in a jiffy. Si kecik juga didn't scream as much or as long as I expected. Way to go Myra, kuat sungguh anak mummy.

The baby's calling, I'm off.

Who would have thought that juggling between taking care of a tiny human and house chores is one tough job.

I could hardly do anything these days, baru nak lipat baju she gonna go ek ek. So much so that I hafta shower with the door open so I could talk to her whilst taking my shower. Yea, she's THAT clingy.

To add up the fun, she rarely sleep during the day nowadays. Just when you thought that budak kecik hafta sleep so they could membesar bagaikan johan. Nampaknya tidak. Perhaps she took after us as we're not the tido-siang type or perhaps she's just wired that way.

Tak kisah la nak, asalkan bahagia dan sehat then I wouldn't ask for more.

Biaq la daddy and mummy makin kurus pon takpe. he he. Kurus ke? :P

Anyway, on a lucky day she gonna nap for an hour or two after her morning bath and a round of milk fix. That's when I'll take my shower, wash/fold the laundry, clean up the house, whip up something for C***'s dinner whilst having my meal which usually consist of cereal and cold milk.

Yea, multitasking at its best.

Owh, what happens when she refused to sleep? The mummy would usually buat hati kering when it comes to certain stuff or she'll have to do the house chores in stages. Potong sayur seminit, layan Myra 10 minutes, lipat baju 3 helai, layan Myra 30 minutes. Yea, macam tu lah adenya.

Anyway, we managed to get our hands on the cute rocker for Myra last weekend, together with the baby cot. Yea, the daddy finally managed to reclaim his spot on the bed so all of us don't have to be sandwiched together anymore. he he.

Talking about the rocker. She seems to love it....sometimes - which is like 2 times out of ten. Tsk tsk. She could only bear to sit in it for 30 minutes top. T_T

He he. I thought that purple hippo supposed to be cute, rupanya scary di mata mu wahai anak.

Ya should see how she wailed when we showed it to her for the 1st time, terus tercebik-cebik ketakotan whilst doing this..
