Finally getting to the end of the current project 1st UAT cycle - without any major issues, which is a hugeee relief.

I detest coming to work only to discover there's something waiting to be fixed, but on the other hand, adelah bagus that they've discovered the bugs here and there whilst in UAT, kot masa production nanti, it's going to be another story.

On a lighter note, now that the moolah is in,adelah awesome as I didn't put much expectation on the performance bonus which turned out to be great after all. I'm thankful for the rezeki. I mean, last year has been a so-so year for me, job wise - as it was quite an easy year for me, not much of workload(except for some phases when I was almost drown in my own workload) due to my pregnancy and looong maternity leave.

So yea, time to spend some of the hard earned moolah, yes?

Work aside.

We finally managed to get our hands on the extra high chairs. Yup, bought 2 more high chairs for the little one which gonna be placed in both kampung, one in Malacca and Kedah later on. I know having 3 of the same stuff is hardly berjimat, but think of it as an investment lah kan and the hassle free balik kampung trip as there are less stuff to angkut, plus it's not like the chair gonna rot like cheese or something, silap silap boleh guna sampai anak yang ke2, ke3, ke 4, eh?

Talking bout high chair which equals to meal time, the little one is having a wee bit of trouble when it comes to food lately, I reckon that she's teething - as her gum is rather swollen and if I'm not imagining stuff, I swear I could already see 2 big rabbit teeth emerging - but since I'm an obsessive mum who can hardly wait for her baby's 1st tooth, I might be imagining stuff after all. :P

Cepat laa anak tumbuh gigi. Your mummy is getting bored of cooking porridge already. Bila la pulak nak makan nasi goreng, pasta, cheese sandwich,bread pudding ke ape ke? Owh, she's having chicken + pumpkin + sweet peas rice porridge for lunch/dinner and mango yogurt with cous cous for breakfast.

I also made scrambled egg with caramelized onions and mushroom wrap for C*** for breakfast (at 6.30am!) - tho he didn't really request for daily breakfast for him to take to the office (he's pemalu just like that), tapi during my malas day, he'll ended up sending texts saying that he's starving and the sort, apekah maknanya itu? Yea another way of saying "I'm starving because my wife was too sleepy to make me breakfast" T_T Fine darling, fine.

Apelah nak masak untuk esok pulak? Hmpph..

On another lighter note, am going to make C*** take us on a little tour of his kampung this weekend. Me likey. :P

Driving a car with EPS feels sorta weird. The steering wheel sometimes feels as light as a feather(which is almost cartoon like) and the next second, it's as heavy as the steering wheel of the manual iswara that I used to drive years back in driving school (fine, I exaggerated, it's not as heavy). Absolutely something that I hafta learn to get used to.Hmphh..

Still think that some(note the some before ya go berserk) "big car" owners, are those with small brains or none at all. I mean, they probably sold off their brains for gold - hence the money for the spanking big cars - else I can't see why they think(if they ever think at all) that it's OKAY to cut queues (aku pakai kereta mahal, make ways!), park in the middle of the road/parking entrance for their convenience's sake etc etc. Owh, people with small cars pon sometimes included, it's just that most of the time it's the one with the big car, big car = big powahh = ignorance! Owh, kau susah nak parking sebab kereta aku ada kat tengah? Sooo? o_O

Talking bout car,think that I need to get the new ride to be tinted asap. It's not amusing to drive a car whilst feeling like you're inside an aquarium. Sungguh jelas segalanya tanpa perlu bersuluh. T_T

On a lighter note, the company financial year gonna end this month, otherwise known as hujung bulan tiga dapat bonus. :P

Not expecting much as last year KPI is only somewhere above the average (due to my long maternity leave, limited projects yada yada) compared to the year before yang sangat lah super flying color, but I do hope that it's enough for me to spend em on something for the loved ones(something new for everybody perhaps?) and probably a short trip for our little family, C***, Myra & me! :) (Myra's going to have her 1st plane ride in June! Yey!)

On a lighter note, it's the time of the year again, let's fill up the efiling - (whilst hoping ade terlebih bayaq :P).

Our little precious is already a wee bit older than 10 month and gonna hit the 1 year mark in 2 months.Alhamdulillah.

Time really flies indeed.

At 10 month 20 days,

01. Still no gigi. ha ha. Do forgive my I'm-waiting-for-her-1st-tooth obsession.

o2. Has been introduced to egg (yey!) and no allergy or whatsoever.

o3. Still a bf baby,Alhamdulillah - sometimes she'll take her milk sambil tertonggek2. T_T (It's just that I'm a bit worry bout my decreasing supply especially when I am at work - adekah saya stress?, owh well, I'll try to strive through - at least until we hit the 1 year mark. Can't say that I'm not trying my best ey? Because I am.)

o4. She's getting pretty expressive of her feeling these days, demanding bukan main. Sib baek la she's everybody's sweetheart so semua pon sanggup melayan. :P

05. Could stand and cruise really well in her babycot and crawls like nobody's business.

o6. She'll clap to tepuk amai-amai song or when ya go "yeay!" - think that she's been doing this since the past 2 months or longer, tapi lupa lak nak jot down. :P

o7. She's been great during bath time since forever, but recently developed an undying love toward water. So each time we take her out of the baby tub, adelah menangis sebab nak main air lagi. T_T

o8. She has been introduced to straw! Like yea, I'm getting sick of the fact that sometimes she gonna be sucking hard on the sippy cup spout and later let the water dribble down from her mouth. She think it's amusing, but not so much for the mummy - especially when we're out jalan-jalan, abeh basah baju okeh.

So yea, the other day when I was in Midvalley, thought of introducing her to something new and impulsively got her a cute water bottle with a straw! Gave her the bottle right away after I'm back from work and in less than say..5 minutes, she was already drinking from em. I'm a proud mummy. Way to go baby! v(^^)

o9. Ya know how you could make the farting sound by blowing onto someone tummy? Which we usually buat dekat budak kecik to tickle them? In my case it's another way around. The baby pulak yang pi buat bunyi-bunyi dekat perot mummy. Whenever we're on the bed and upon discovering patches of exposed skin (tummy, arm, kaki even), macam-macam bunyi lah dia buat and adelah geli, so I'd usually scream and she finds it amusing, so lagi laaa dia buat.Owh ya, tonnes of saliva included in the process.Euwwiii :P

10.She's so mobile these days - she could climb onto her portable rocker-chair in a jiffy, wiggles herself down from the sofa and whatnot. It's getting harder and harder to put on her diapers/clothes without her trying to crawl away.

So we included the Mamy Poko pants(the easyfit one is blehh tho it's mamy poko - macam pakai plastic, the other variety of the pants adelah better,tapi the name escaped my mind pulak, something comfort?) for day wear besides Huggies Comfort dry as I still prefer the normal Mamy Poko and Huggies ultra for nighttime. (Our slim baby's still on size M diapers, we've stopped purchasing diapers since last month since we still have like 9 jumbo packs of various diapers in stock o_o )

11. She loves Upin and Ipin! ha ha. She also loves Shaun the sheep and Timmy time. Dunno lah why she find em entertaining but if one of the show is on TV and it's meal time, adelah senang,her eyes gonna be fixed on the screen, tapi mulut automatic bukak bila nak suap makanan. he he. I know it's hardly a healthy habit, makan depan tv, but sometimes she's so busy and easily distracted and somewhat curious by other stuff, adelah susah dia nak makan. So the method sekarang, anything that makes ya happy baby. Anything.

12. She'll be giddy upon hearing the word "jom", she'd usually start cruising or crawl dengan pantas whilst grinning - jom usually means that she gonna be carried outside, pegi jalan-jalan or simply a dukung. :)

13. Whenever I kiss her whilst making the mmmmuahh sound, she gonna press her open mouth to my face too, sambil buat bunyi mmmwaaahhhh. She probably doesn't appreciate being showered with too much kisses sometimes, but it's fun to see her mimicking ya action. :)

That's about it. Owh, we love you baby. ♥

Finally back to the office after a long weekend.

Well, our short weekend getaway was pretty much eventful and fun - since ya get the chance to spend em with the families. Did nothing much but laze around (whilst enjoying the cold weather), had bbq dinner and the usual jalan-jalan at the tourist spots - Bharat tea, the pasar malam, Kea Farm, strawberry & bee farm.

Bought pretty much nothing - except for boxes of tea & honey sticks(sucking on em whilst watching tv adelah chenta) - as I couldn't see any point of dragging kilos of vegetables down from the highlands as I'll get pretty much the same stuff at home. he he. Sayuq kat giant tu pon from Cameron, no?

So yea, I'd probably go there again in say..3-4 years. Yea, I need that long of a time to recover from my motion-sickness. Like why lah the road hafta be so bad. Tsk tsk. I love the cold weather(at night, siang adelah panas), greenery and all that, but the road is a turn off for me. Rasa macam nak muntah 100 kali. Urgh. Owh and make it sometime when it's not public holiday or school holidays. :P It's hard to enjoy the nature when it's too crowded.

Yesterday went by like a dream, C*** did great in taking care of the baby whilst I was at work - fidgeting in my seat. he he.

C*** gloated on how easy it's to take care of the little precious. She ate well, sleep well(thrice!), poop well(he he) , drank her milk and behaved well too.

Yea, the little precious decided to be extra nice for her daddy, after all, it's his 1st time taking care of her, alone. Maybe takot nanti daddy dia serik pulak. :P

Whilst all is well for C***, my day started pretty early yesterday. I had to get up early for the usual morning pumping session, labelled the EBM, whip up some fried rice for C*** lunch, made banana + oatmeal + yogurt for Myra's breakfast, bathe the baby, dressed her up before taking a shower myself and off to work.

Long story short, got back home sometime before 7pm to a starving C***. Kesian. :P

So I made him chicken and beef quesadilla (which was good but not cheesy enough for him, yer baiklah, next time letak cheese sepuluh kati) with tomato and onion yogurt dip for dinner.

Also made a fresh batch of chicken + carrot + broccoli porridge for the little one (for today's lunch and dinner) and whilst waiting for her porridge to cook to perfection, washed and sterilized the bottles and pump parts.

Rasa seperti super mummy, but not quite as later that night, I'm suffering form a backache. Adoi. Even a whole day of tampal koyok won't do it.

On a lighter note, I'm really looking forward to our short weekend trip, am planning to drag my trusted tefal pot to make yummy caramel popcorn during the bbq night. :D

I think that I need sometime off from work, ya know, a short getaway or something to unwind for a bit. I'm planning to have a wee bit of that during our family weekend trip to Cameron later - the crowd and traffic won't be pretty as it's the weekend + school holidays, but since I'm not driving, I'll suck it up and live with it.

Anyway, the weekend was eventful for me. Cooked pasta for C***, made a batch of caramel popcorn for our movie time on Saturday (it has been ages since the last time we went out to catch a movie, but being with the other half + homemade popcorn will do jugak lah). Had a good eat out and a shopping spree on Sunday.

Bought some cute cardigan,tops and sweater for the little precious from Mothercare(on sale yo!) - as the ones that we have (which were bought by my parents during their various jalan-jalan trips) are currently over-sized, mau lagi few months or probably a year baru leh pakai kot. T_T

Managed to satisfy my crave over pearl milk tea and cinnamon rolls. I heart cinnamon. Hmpp..cinnamon caramel popcorn sounds good kan? :P

On a lighter note, the new ride is here, Alhamdulillah - tho I can't say it's a dream comes true, as yes, I've been wanting a new ride, but it's just that, it's not what I want. I'll take it as a sacrifice on my part lah, so that we'll be able to get our hands on a better something later. he he.

So yea, something gotta give but fret not, after all it's just a ride for me to drive to work, which is like less than 50km daily - so no use of wasting too much moolah on it - talks about being a grown up with a family, you'll learn to prioritize. :)

On another lighter note, it feels a bit strange to be driving a compact car when you've been driving a big car for so long. Rasa seperti cartoon.

Talks about car, now hafta get the fixing and painting of the 4wd sorted out asap so that we could sent it back to Kedah - else how lah to keep 4 cars since we only have 3 parking bays. (p/s: Darling cousin, if ya reading this, if ada ternampak C*** car parked at your parking tu, ampun maaf dipinta, tumpang saaaat. :D Kalau nak guna, roger okeh. )

The PILs are going back to Malacca for MIL's checkup sometime later, guess who hafta babysit the baby since the mummy can't take leave sebab tengah UAT? :P Yey C***! Fret not darling, you'll be just fine.
