♥of.11 months.&.me.♥

Our baby gonna turn 1 in less than a week! Time flies like ya wouldn't believe.

At 11 months & 23 days

Spot the gigi!

o1. She now has 2 gigi! TWO! Dua. :P The 1st one is the upper central incisor on the left, and the 2nd one is her right lower central incisor. I've been waiting for those gigi for like forever, but somehow I managed to forget to buy her those baby toothbrush thingy, ya know those little beginner toothbrush which looks more like a teeter stick rather than a toothbrush, so yeah, am so going to get me one of those ASAP. (Okay, I'm overreacting over a couple of teeth. So? )

o2. She loves HI5, and each time they are done with their songs and ya could see the little kids in the show jumping and clapping, she'll clap too.

o3. She can actually stand on her own now - tho just for a mere seconds- and she'd 'walk' eagerly if ya just hold on to her little hands and let her 'walk'.he he.

o4. She'll fake a cry whenever I raise my voice to stop her from doing something. Drama swasta betui.

o5. Still a breastfeed baby alright!Alhamdulillah.

o6. Her fine soft hair is getting curlier each day which is sorta funny since none of us berambut curly. I mean, when we're out people gonna think that she has my hair la kan? Since they could only see C***'s straight hair and they'll simply assume that she got the hair from me. Well, I think she took after her paksu aka my little brother as he used to have curly hair when he's little. Now his hair is no longer curly, just wavy (tu pasal sibuk nak straight kan rambut, ehem) :P

07. She'll raise her hand up if ya call out "Mana Myra angkat tangan?" tho sometimes she just couldn't be bothered, especially when she's busy watching the advertisements on tv. T_T

08. More often than not, she'll sleep throughout the night these days - only waking up sometime around subuh for morning feed, in fact she stopped waking up 2-3 times for milk since she's around 6-7 months which equals to more uninterrupted sleep for mummy!

09. She could be such a decent little eater aka sitting down on her chair during mealtime - whenever she feels like it else you hafta be prepared to feed her whilst she's cruising around the house and the usual 15 minutes gonna be elongated to 45 & you'll have a handful of clothes splattered with baby food to be hand washed. (On a lighter note, body wash works quite wonderfully to remove stubborn baby food stains before washing em thoroughly using baby friendly detergent.I tend to get bored of body washes, so using em to wash baby cloth helps to finish em up rather quickly.he he)

10. She'll demand to watch her nursery rhymes,Upin Ipin and Elmo on the tablet each time she sees it. So pantang nampak the parents holding the tablet, dia pon nak join sekaki & she actually knows how to pick the video and put em on play! Ok I lied, she probably doesn't know how, she might just trying to imitate our gestures whilst using the tablet, tapi most of the time, she's able to select the video from the list and play em which amuses her to no end. :)

11. If ya hold out ya hand to her whilst telling her "Tangan mummy sakit, urut urut", she'll either rub your hand with her palm or squeeze em or sometimes, pinch em. he he. Nenek ajar urut. he he.

12. Her separation anxiety is getting somewhat dramatic these days. I mean, she'll stick to me like glue during the weekend, refusing to let me off her sight else she'll scream her lugs out and the moment I pick her up, she'll hug me,sad face, resting her head on my shoulder, little hands around my neck and all, macam takot kena tinggal. Haih. It breaks my heart a little to think of how I can't spend much time with her during the week days, ya know,I'll usually leaves home sometime after 8am and got back home by 7pm and later sometime around 9pm, it's already her bedtime. So ya see, I have less than 3 hours to belek my baby. I sometimes wish money grows on tree.

13. She could wiggle herself down from her rocker-chair, the sofa and recently our bed - granted it's a bit on the high side and just yesterday, the bed at the my PIL place in Malacca. She'll simply shift into her reverse gear, get a good grasp at the bedsheets and wiggle herself down safely. As much as I cringed at the thought that she gonna fall, I'd like her to be able to explore as much as possible, so I'll  just bite my lips and let her be. Haih, the agony.

Well baby, I know how I can't wait for you to grow up and all, but could you just please do it sloooowly?

That's about it, I'm so going to get her a cake - tho it's not like I'll let her eat it anyway.he he.

of.post holiday syndrome.&.me.

I'm having the post-public-holiday syndromes today. So yea, reading the incident logs and working on the codes give me headache.

So let's be random for a bit.

o1. C*** is such a sweetheart. He actually helped to wash my ride yesterday, I mean, this is not the usual, drive-the-car-to-the-car-wash wash, this is the he-went-down-with-a-pail-and-whatnot-and-wash-the-car-himself wash. Terima kasih daun keladi darling,err..next week basuh lagi? :D

o2. Since Myra's turning 1 in less than a month and is currently in eager-to-walk mode, am searching high and low for a nice walker-cum-ride for her. Got my eyes on the Fisher price's stride to ride lion. The online reviews are sorta promising, but hafta scout for em at the store so I could scrutinize em for a bit and get my hand on em asap.

o3. I spent the public holiday doing house chores and nothing else. Managed to cook for lunch for the little one and the adults(it has been ages since the last time I made fish curry, but luckily it turned out okay), washed the seat cover of Myra's convertible chair-rocker. It was blardy berdaki. Urgh. Folded the laundry. Did the usual pumping sessions and sorted out the frozen EBM. Made mango yogurt. Washed C***'s white baseball cap twice (he complained that it's not clean enough previously so saya telah memberusnya dengan ganas.he he) etc. Tired? Yes.

o4. I'm dragging C*** out for hi-tea on Saturday. I've made the reservation,so let's.

o5. Bought a new wedges heels over the weekend, but unfortunately it's a bit too..hmpp..I dunno, fragile (due to the material, it's suede leather)? Inappropriate for work? So yea, probably need to hunt for another pair shoes over the weekend.

o6. Am still waiting for the (rather incompetent) girl (who works at the management office) to give me a call so I could collect some stuff. She works at a snail-like pace as if she has all the time in the world (which is a bit annoying if ya ask me) and I'm starting to think that her promise to give me a call in 2 days adelah actually 2 weeks kot. Haih.

o7. Don't think that I'll be able to use the free movie tickets so I'd probably give em away, I don't think that I'll step into a movie theater in the next 5 years. These days, I only watch movies when they are on tv. How lame.

08. Baby brother celebrated his 24th birthday last Saturday. Happy birthday little brother. Study well, do graduate with flying colors, get yourself a great job & later when you're rich and successful, ingatlah orang-orang yang tersayang, get me a VW Scirocco sebijik so I could drive it untuk pegi pasar. Okay thanks. :P

That's about it, I'm done blabbering.

Tata.

♥of.the long weekend.&.me.♥

I know it's the wordless Wednesday, but I feel like rambling for a bit

We were in Malacca for the long weekend as MIL had to go for her scheduled checkup on Friday. So yea, our Friday was sorta well spent as the three of us got to go jalan-jalan for a bit, which mind you, is very rare tho we often spend our weekend in C***'s hometown. Yer lah, if ya hoping to jalan-jalan during the weekend, you're better off staying at home kot, as the crowd is sorta unbelievable & not to mention Malacca adelah super panas.he he (I lived there for a year,I know :P), crowd and super kepanasan don't go well together. Now that we are with the baby, the uncomfortable jalan-jalan,more often than not, is not an option.

Myra turned 11mth on Friday hence the jalan-jalan(refer above), I'd take it as our little private celebration - tho truthfully it was me who badgered C*** to take us to the Taming Sari tower days before. he he. I'm very persistent ya see? In a good way of coz which turned out to be great since C*** himself seemed to enjoy the ride - the lack of crowd made it more enjoyable, no long queue and the cabin was somewhat empty. Or should I say that he was more excited about it than I am? After all, at RM10/ride, it's dirt cheap. Boleh la kalau nak naik lagi 20 kali.

After the ride, went to MP which's my 1st in the last..hmpp..10 years? Yea, it has been that long since my Alpha year in MMU. 10 freaking years, it feels like yesterday. The mall has been refurbished but it still has the 'old' atmosphere to me. We stopped by at Starbuck for drinks, Watsons for Myra's vitamin and Mcd for the fattening food(tho we're not hungry) and got home by Maghrib as we had a malam berinai to attend and SIL to visit.

The rest of the weekend was pretty normal, laze around, a quick drive by the beach watching people flying kites (I'm so going to bring Myra out to the beach to fly a kite once she's big enough, on 2nd thought, I don't even know how to fly a kite myself, so how ah?) .

By Sunday night,we reached home around 10pm, exhausted but I still had to unpack the bags, prepared Myra's ebm, cook her porridge, yada yada. The drive back from Malacca lasted for over than 3 hours, thanks to the weekend traffic - if ya throw another hour into that, it would be as long as it takes to reach Kedah from KL. Talks about Kedah, I can't wait to balik kampung already.

That's about it. Hafta write on Myra's 11mth milestones later. Our little precious is turning one in less than a month! :)

Good day, tata.
