of.15mth, 16mth.&.me.

Let's not think of myself as a bad mummy for not updating on the little one 15 month milestones and write up a combo of 15 & 16 month milestones instead. :P

Well, she picks up new thing every single minutes of everyday that I'm having trouble to remember figure out on which one to start.

So yea, here goes

o1. For someone who prefers to sleep (& be sandwiched together) in the parents' bed, she's being awesome these days by her ability sleep through the night in her baby cot and not waking up in the wee hour screaming to be picked up. he he. Seriously, tho I'm all big in cuddling and whatnot, tapi co-sleeping with an active toddler is a different story altogether (especially when you're tired from a long day at work), sebab more often then not, you'll be kicked at throughout the night and later in the morn, greeted by her tiny feet on your face. Not cute.

o2. She's taking in all the simple instructions quite well these days.
"Myra, brush your teeth" (whilst handing her little toothbrush), she'd grab em and gosok gigi - tho sometimes she'd just suck on the brush. T_T

"Myra, jom sleep" (whilst me walking toward the bedroom), she'd follow suit, get into the room and stand beside the bed whilst waiting for me to pick her up (sebab our bed is a wee bit high, dia boleh turun tapi tak leh climb up.he he), tapi sometimes adelah hesitant bila diajak tidoq, sebab she still feels like playing and mula lah drama ayaq mata.

"Myra, mummy nak" (whilst showing her my open palm), more often than not, she'll hand over whatever she's holding.

"Myra, mummy nak" (whilst making the munching gesture when she's eating something), she'd stuff whatever food she's holding into your mouth and lepas tu excited and pegi fetch more food to be stuffed into your mouth - so later you'll ended up eating her portion of food.T_T

"Myra jom shower/wash pot-pot." She'll walk herself to the bathroom.

There are a bunch of others, sambung lain kali. :P

o3. She's very expressive these days. When she comes over to you, wanting you to help to reselect the video playing on the tablet, and kalau refuse, teruih merajuk. She'll go back and sit in front on her tablet and cry (whilst keeping her eyes on you, making ya feel guilty). ha ha . Manipulating little brat.

o4. Tho she can't really talk (unless her endless chatters could be considered as talking), she knows how to ask for what she want. Drag mummy to the dining table = she wants her cereal/snacks. Drag mummy to the bedroom and grab at mummy's bag = she wants me to take out the tablet to watch her videos. Ya get the drift.

o5. She loves to push her own stroller, boleh amukan kalau tak bagi. Like yea, the other day when we went to the KLIA to bid our aunt and uncle goodbye, we took her out of the stroller to let her walk, but instead of running around freely, she walked her stroller instead. Upon seeing us at the airport, my aunt could only spot me and C*** pushing the stroller whilst walking toward em, so she asked "Where's the baby?" sebab nampak C*** tolak empty stroller - not knowing that the baby adelah hidden behind the stroller, because she was busy pushing her own imaginary baby. :P

o6. My little precious's love and hate relationship with bottle feeding is something undeniable. She used to hate em so much that most of the time she refuses to hold on to the bottle. Like yea, most babies would hold on to their own bottles happily when they are merely few months old. Not the case with my baby. She's so used to breastfeed and having her grandma to hold her bottle, so sekarang adelah mengada. The moment ya give her the bottle, her little hands gonna be playing with her hair. Sungguh feeling princess. So nowadays, we've been forcing her to hold her own bottle. Sometimes she obliged sometimes not.At times, saja je sendalkan the bottle with a small pillow, thinking that she gonna grab at em when she realizes that nobody's holding it, tapi tidak. Dia biaq je bottle tu tergolek, she got up and pegi main with her toys. T_T

o7. She detest milk bottle feeding, but can't say the same bout her water bottle. She loves em. Now that she knows how to close and open the lid, it has been a pretty dangerous affair. If ya see her watching her videos whilst sucking on her water from the bottle, it could only means 2 things, one - she already drank the entire content of the water bottle or two - she's playing with the water from the bottle, by sucking on em to fill up her mouth and later let em dribble down her chin onto the front of her shirt and pants which equals to a new change of clothes. Wonderful. This little one is an expert in amusing herself. :P

o8. She's still on her no-rice policy. Yup, she's now living on veges, fruits, eggs, chicken and pasta! :P

o9. At 16 month, she's a slim but chubby looking 9kg toddler.

10. Whenever I got back home from work, the moment she sees me at the door, she gonna drop whatever she's doing and come running to me for a hug - the head on my shoulder, hands around my neck type of hug. Haih, sungguh terharu. Then her nenek gonna be like "Ehh..berapa tahun tak jumpa mummy tuu?" he he.

11. She now (sorta) knows how to be ashamed of something that she did. Like last night, when we were watching tv, she suddenly let out a loud bubbly fart (sorry baby, it's not like mummy want to embarrass you by writing this) and she had this serious-I-did-nothing expression on her face, so I was like " Myraaa, Myraaa putt putttt eh? Busuukk.." whilst patting on her bum. Then she looked at me then gave me a sheepish smile.   :P

12. She's currently in her super-curious phase that she'll run into our closet room whenever she sees the lights on (especially when we are in there to pick/change our clothes) - so she could rummage our closets and her daddy's treasure chest. She's also into opening and closing whatever furniture that could be opened and closed, closets, kitchen cabinet etc - well, the child-locks didn't work,phhhbttt... she's way too smart for em, within few minutes after putting em on the kitchen cabinet's door, dia dah figured out how to unlock em ( I think she got the talent from her engineer daddy, semua benda pon nak diMcGyver kan). Nasib baiiik the fridge's doors are too tight for her to pry open.

13. Did I tell ya that she loves to go out jalan-jalan? Yea, she got it from her mummy. :P

14. These days, she's developing a liking of going to bed with both mummy and daddy. Yea, once upon a time ago, the mummy(& the boobs) adelah all that she needs, sekarang she wants both the parents on the bed to pat her to sleep else she'll be sitting at the edge of the bed whilst trying to drag me out of the room, yer,nak ajak keluar bilik to fetch her daddy. Haih la, when the daddy's abroad for work, mummy adelah pengsan.

15. She loves mummy's shawls. Whenever she could get her little hands on em, she'll try to put em on (which is of coz tak berjaya. Ape dia ingat kalau dah pakai tudung tu bleh kuaq pegi berjalan ke? :P - since seeing me with my shawl on = mummy's going out.). Sometimes for amusement sake, I'll fold her daddy's hanky and turn it into a little head-scarf for her - then she'll drag me into the bedroom, so she could watch herself in the mirror.
