Our weekend started early last week. Mine started on Thursday as we agreed to have sometime off from work to celebrate the other half's birthday and as preparation for our weekend long trip.

So yea, C***'s birthday celebration started early as he was kicked in the rib by his birthday present sometimes after subuh. Yea, he got a 6 months baby (which fortunately his) to be taken care of as a birthday present - as I hafta get ready for my half day work. :P

Yea, the PIL were away on a trip somewhere out of the country, so we sorta takes turn to look after the baby - which was sorta overwhelming at 1st as it gonna be C***'s 1st time to take care of the baby all by himself. Like ya darling, I know we promised to hold on to the 'sharing is caring' thing, but now you're on your own. he he. Keji sungguh bully birthday boy jaga anak. ha ha.

Owh well, Myra's his baby to begin with, somehow he hafta know how to take care of her aight? As I'm not big into the whole bila-ada-anak-mak-jaga-bapak-goyang-kaki thing. I mean, as much as the baby would prefer the mum compared to the dad, tapi bapak kenalah pandai jaga anak in case of anything.

So yeah, I prepared a light meal for the daddy, chilled EBM in bottles and a small jar of oatmeal with sweet potato and apple for the baby before dashing off to work.

Honestly, I was fidgeting on my seat throughout the hours. I mean, Myra adores her daddy(tengah cranky tengok muka daddy terus senyum) but she could be a wee bit tough sometimes, suka mengada-ngada tak tentu pasal, refusing to be bottle-fed etc. C*** did warn me of the possibility of him showing up in front of the office if Myra gets a wee bit too hard to handle, but the dreaded calls didn't come and C*** didn't make any emergency visit to the office, so yeah, everything's dandy ey?

To cut long story short, I finally reached home sometimes before 3 after I'm finished with work and the spa. Yes, I went for a much needed spa treatment. Orang lain punya birthday,orang lain yang pegi spa. :P

Well, I'm one of the reasons why he got his 6 months old birthday gift at the 1st place aight? So yea, the bearer of the gift got herself a gift as well and C***'s all cool bout it. Thanks love :x

Owh, so yea, I got back home to a comot baby and an equally comot looking daddy - but let's not have a picture of that. :P

Minus the comotness, everything was fine. Alhamdulillah. Yey daddy! :D

Moving on with the next best thing on the agenda, adelah our romantic dinner for 3. I initially thought of surprising C*** with a fine dining at a fine restaurant somewhere, but a fine dining with a 6 months old (sometimes screaming her lugs out) baby won't be that fine of an idea.

Yer lah, kang semua orang in the restaurant nak beromantika diamour, ade pulak budak kecik dok bising terjerit2 menangis segala. In respect of others who wish to dine in peace, I ditched the idea as it would be too much of a hassle. I'd probably revisit the idea in a few years.

The next best thing is to have a dinner buffet somewhere fancy and to make it a wee bit different than our usual dinner buffet, I made a reservation for a Japanese dinner buffet instead. he he. Yes, darling, it's a cue for you to take us to Japan once Myra's big enough. I'm being straight forward over here. :P

Tho Myra won't be able to enjoy the buffet spread, at least we could eat at our own pace and still gonna be able to entertain her when she gets a wee bit restless. Bawak pusing-pusing tengok makanan pon okay lah kan?

So yea, the dinner went well. We ate a lot, like what's new with that? :P

Well, I didn't bring any food for Myra as I already fed her an early dinner but we let her munch on pieces of fruits instead - on the top of her usual dose of BF.

We headed back home sometime before 11pm after a brief stroll.

It's a fun day, a happy birthday alright. :D

Owh, the next day we headed to the East coast for our long weekend. I'll ramble bout it later, if I feel like it. :P

Eh, our little precious is 7 months young today(will write bout her milestones later too). :x How time flies. Sob.

I'm supposed to come up with a WW entry, but I feel like rambling for a bit. :P

Well, we went to see the Paed for another vaccination for Myra yesterday, based on her current height, weight and whatnot, she seems to be doing great in the growing up department. Tho her weight gain is on the minimum side as she just can't stay still these days. She cried for a bit after the shot and the Paed prescribed us with a small bottle of multivits for Myra - and that little mini-us loves it tho the syrup reminded of us of those yucky cough syrup. Ape jer la yang dia tak suka? Ni mesti ikot perangai daddy nih. :P

Owh, her next paed's visit is for her pneumococcal vac - which gonna be sometime next month.

Someone's birthday is coming next week and I'm ever so ready to celebrate. Woot! A japanese buffet dinner for 2 pleasee..err..3.

We have two or probably three weddings to attend during the weekend and somehow I'm so going to squeeze the Clark's warehouse sale and Baby's expo in. Another shopping spree I see. :P

We're going for a long trip to the east coast sometimes next week for a cousin wedding. I'm a bit nervous as it's going to be a very very long drive - which is even longer than our usual drive back to Kedah - and I'm hoping that it's going to be breezy for the baby. Kot dia dah restless and throw tantrum, 10 minutes drive pon dah ngeri. he he.

Talking about the trip, I hafta come up with a meal planner for the baby. Hmpph..

I owed myself another trip to the spa, but the big fat question is BILAAAA???

We're moving to a new office by the end of the month. The new place is probably easier to get to as there are like tonnes of alternatives routes and whatnot - but the parking space is scarce but with a killing rate, so is the food. Say bye-bye to cheap dedicated parking bay and el-cheapo lunch. Haih. Boss, probably it's time for another raise? :P



I bought a coupon for customized fridge magnets a while ago from Groupon and redeemed it sometimes last week. I received the parcel yesterday from the vendor - ThinkBigStudio. I sorta love it - mainly because Myra's face is plastered on em.I'd give it 10/10 stars if the workmanship is not that shabby. I mean, I know that they are selling it at a cheaper price tag, but the trimming adelah sorta frustrating. I mean, some of em looks as if it were cut by a 5 years old. Sungguh lah tak neat the cutting. Owh well?

I'm probably one of the laziest bloggers on earth.

Now that I have tonnes on stuff on my plate, lagi lah kemalasannya. But since I owe myself a post on Myra's 6 months milestones - here comes another macik-macik post. :P

o1. She's doing great when it comes to solid food. She's currently on sweet potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, banana, apple and brown rice. She loves oatmeal too, but she loves mangoes more. ha ha. Yea, gave her a piece of ripe mango once (or probably twice), she love em to bits - just like her parents. he he. Mangoes might be too early for some,but I'm not too rigid bout letting her tasting the fruits. It's just fruits after all and yeah, no processed food please. No instant cereal whatsoever. Making baby foods adelah fun - tho obviously you have to spend more time making em, but why would I want to exchange it with something less interesting aight?

o2. She's now an expert in turning 360 degrees. She could roll left and right as her heart desires and tho she can't really crawl just yet, she could basically move about like a cute ulat. :P

o3. She babbles, like a lot. Her favorite one syllables are "da," "ma,". I just can't wait for her to start talking. he he. Ambitious much? :P

o4. She's always in a good mood each time she wakes up from her sleep. I love how she'd smile when I greet her every morning. Cair hati mummy- buat rasa malas jer nak pegi work. he he.

o5. She somewhat knows how to get back to sleep all by herself. Just this morning she got back to sleep after mummy refused to layan her since she's running late for work. he he. Memula dok ek ek, tetiba dah tido pulak. Good girl.

o6. I'm still her favourite person in the whole wide world. ha ha. :P Yea, sometimes she's sorta oblivious of others when I'm around. Am I complaining? Well, no sir. :)

07. She's still on EBM when I'm away. She'll usually takes 5x4oz of milk from 8am-7pm including a solid lunch and an early dinner around 6pm.

Owh Myra, Myra, mummy luv you, like a lot. :x
